Description

Due to significant growth, Array is in search of Group Leader

Hours Monday- Friday 2:00PM  - 10:30PM

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for Employee safety at the workplace.

  • Responsible for Productivity by order--- actual hours’ vs budgeted hours

  • Provides direction and support to production line.

  • Responsible for quality.

  • Helps Initiate and support continuous improvement.

  • Responsible for On Time Delivery for each order.

  • Leads Line meetings for their assigned Teams and follows up on any open actions from meeting.

  • Ensures 5S department standards are met and supports audits and corrective action for issues.

  • Works with Leadership Team members to ensure overall company training needs are achieved.

  • Provides feedback to Manager for performance appraisals of applicable operators.

  • Ensure Employee adherence to company policies and safety regulations.

  • Maintains an appropriate labor-management relationship with ALL team members.

 

Skills

  • A minimum High school diploma or Post-Secondary education required; or any combination of education and equivalent experience

  • 2 years of experience in a leadership role preferred

  • Positive employee relations skills and experience training and developing teams

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Computer literacy with MS Word, Excel, Outlook – basic to intermediate level

  • Must be available to work extra hours to meet production deadlines as required

  • Experience leading between 24-36 direct and in-direct employees an asset

  • Must have a strong sense of urgency

  • 5S experience an asset

  • A solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations

  • Experience, with employee development, Performance Appraisals and delivering feedback is an asset
