Due to significant growth, Array is in search of Pre-Production Coordinator

Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes SolidWorks models, drawings, sketches, and design data of part to determine dimension and configuration of cuts, selection of cutting tools, and machine speeds and feed rates.
  • Computes angular and linear dimensions, radii, and curvatures, and outlines sequence of operations required to machine part.
  • Determines stock material sizes and prepares an order sheet to direct the casting of raw material blocks.
  • Work with multiple teams to evaluate the technical packages by considering practicality, functionality, aesthetics, and production methods
  • Manage the communication loop between the model shop and engineering departments for revisions and changes
  • Provide quality control feedback to developers
  • Maintain records and create reports or proposals as required.
  • Works with Department Manager and Section Manager to develop improvement ideas that support business objectives
  • Accountable to follow all policies and procedures as defined in the company quality system.
  • Conducts all work duties as per the Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations, the health, safety & environmental policies, procedures, and policies of Array Canada.

Skills required:
  • Detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of solid works, sheet metal, weldments, geometrical tolerance & fixture assemblies an asset.
  • Team oriented, excellent communication skills (oral & written).
  • A good understanding of manufacturing processes related to open sell, countertop, sheet metal & fixtures an asset.
  • Strong problem solving & decision making skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
